Falling Down Ver 1 by 40 Below Summer 40 Below Summer - Falling Down ver 1 guitar tab Falling Down (Rain EP and ITTD)- 40 below summer Tabbed by Jos Antilibido and Steve Mitchell Tuning: C#G#C#F#A#D# This isn't a hard song. Most of the odd low notes you hear are actually caused by the bass playing a lower note, almost making it seem like the chord changed. The hardest part is the suspended G barre chord in the 2nd riff of the chorus. If you cant play it, play a normal G power chord. A lot of people get the chord in the chorus wrong. The guitarists both actually use a slash chord (Move the first root down half a step, but keep all the other notes the same). I'm not sure if the guitarist drops his guitar down to Drob B for this song. The entire new album uses 3 tunings: Standard, Drop C#, and Drop B. Drop B will make this song harder then C#, because it really messes up the slash chord. The little breakdown is played by a guitar, but we have our bassist play it because it's much easier that way. This tab was based on the original version from the Rain EP. The original is a bit harder sounding, and there are a few more tricks in the guitar work (You know those weird riffs you hear but just can't quite make out, during the verse and chorus? You can hear them in the demo). The only difference between the two, guitar wise, is that the 4th string riff during the verse is missing, and filled in with a sustained powerchord, and the little riff during the chorus is totally buried and inaudible. -- Bass Line (This will sound totally wrong on a guitar, but if your bassists sucks, it will be a cheap substitute.) Check out Joshua Blackburn's tab, and move it a step up.
