Alright, let me explain this part. If you hear the song, you can hear him let the C5 ring out while he's playing the rest of the riff [thus, sounding like a chord]. The hammer ons are really quick and you can barely hear it, but they're there. The ringing out also goes for G1 for just a bit too.
