Enemy Ver 3 by Sevendust Sevendust - Enemy ver 3 bass tab Band: Sevendust Song: Enemy Album: Seasons Bassist: Vince Hornsby Tabber: P.H.E.O.N.Y.X. of Pocketknife12 and Midnight Society ([email protected]) Here it is. Straight off the Seasons LP. Probably the 2nd or 3rd best song off the album. Opening Riff(0:09) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |1x E:-0-0-0h20-220-00-22--------0-0-0h2-220-22-00-22-----------------|- First Verse HAs NO BASS Chorus(0:37) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |1x E:--7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2---------0-0-0-2----7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2----------|- Second Verse (0:54) [Same as opening Riff] G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |x2 E:-0-0-0h20-220-00-22--------0-0-0h2-220-22-00-22-----------------|- Chorus(1:12) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |2x E:--7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2---------0-0-0-2----7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2----------|- Bridge(1:44) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |2x E:-2~-22-2~-22-0~-0~-0-00-00--------------------------------------|_ Chorus(2:06) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |2x E:--7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2---------0-0-0-2----7~-7~-7-7-5-3--2----------|- Closing Riff(2:38) G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| |1x E:-0-0-0h20-220-00-22--------0-0-0h2-220-22-00-22-----------------|- Outro(2:51)[ALBUM VERSION ONLY!!!!] G:----------------------------------------------------------------|- D:----------------------------------------------------------------| | A:----------------------------------------------------------------| | E:--0~--2~~\---0~--2~~\------0~-2~--\////---------|- Okay. A couple of notes: *The outro is ALBUM ONLY. I don't know why they did that. There's actually no bass in the outro, but to go along with it you play that. That last slide is played exactly how it looks. *This tab was INCREDIBLY hard to make because Vince likes to use variations and you have to basically take the notes I give you and get the timing purely by listening to it. It's an odd rhythm. *This is the closest you're gonna get without buying sheet music. I have the 'Seasons' DVD with the 'Enemy' in-studio video on it and I watched Vince the whole time (*they show his hands*) and these ARE the frets he plays to. I also know Vince uses Standard tuning from an interview he did not too long ago. *Vince also uses a pick. You can too. I don't use a pick and it sounds fine. This song looks and sounds complicated, but it's really not. Just listen to the CD for the timing and you'll get it. Enjoy!
