Fifteen Countries by Aunt Martha

The lyrics might be off, and I tabbed this based on this video: http://vimeo.com/24655104,
so it might vary a tiny bit from the album version.

I put two options for each chord. In the video he uses the chords on the left, I like to
use the open chords on the right (fretting 3 on the high E string is optional).
Also, for the lines "fifteen countries long" and "that was not enough" the chords refer
to the bass note that you should hit.

Capo 1

G 35540x or 32000(3)
A 50540x or x0200(3)
C 53540x or x3200(3)

Intro:
G A C C

     G A C
well i keep trying to tell you that i feel like i am losing my mind
     G A C
that man you always wanted i should tell you that i left him behind
       G A C
when i wake up in the morning there are strangers i have yet to become
    G A C
and lie down in the evening it is spinning from the things that i've done

                    G
you could have been right
                  A
i could have been wrong
               C
and here i am lost on the highway

fifteen countries long
                    G
you could have been mine
               A
sure it's been tough
                  C
i could have been holding you tightly
    C B A E G
but that was not enough

    G A C

     G A C

and here i'm getting used to all these strangers and the things that they do
    G A C
and every time you call me i am further from the man that you knew

                    G
you could have been right
                  A
i could have been wrong
               C
and here i am lost on the highway
C B A E G
fifteen countries long
                    G
you could have been mine
               A
sure it's been tough
                  C
i could have been holding you tightly
    C B A E G
but that was not enough
A C
that was not enough
C B A E G
that was not enough

C

i'm getting up you're still asleep
  C
i wish you'd never think of me
  G C
i honestly believe that would be best

                    G
you could have been right

i could have been wrong
