Fighting For Nothing Acoustic by Meg And Dia

this is my first tab.
I hope you like it. tell me what you think.
The strumming pattern isn't hard in this song you'll catch on to it. If your
unsure then you can go on youtube and see the live acoustic performance of the
song. Also, if you've heard the acoustic version of "Roses",the bridge of the song
is much strummed like the bridge of "Roses"

The Chords used in the song are...
 F#M B D#m C#5 C#sus2
e-2---7---6---x---4 e-x
b-2---7---7---x---4 b-x
g-3---8---8---6---6 g-8
d-4---9---8---6---6 d-9
a-4---9---6---4---4 a-9
e-2---7---x---x---x if that "B" sounds funny then play:e-7

I'm not quite sure about Carlo's guitar in the intro, which is lead but here's Meg's Rhythm guitar:

F#M, B -x2

Verse:
                    F#M B
When I was younger, I wish that I would have known better.

Better love makes a fat romance, that last for more than a shoe shine
    F#M B
I'm older, took all the words from my mother, saying,

It could be worse you could be born with that disease instead of catching it

first.

Lead In:
             D#m C#sus2
So let's go back, to the first time, that I met you, in your Chevy, with
         F#M C#5 C#5
your hands stretched, and me crying, screaming,"Mercy, mercy."
        D#m C#sus2
But I know that, I was put here, to fight Vikings, in a cold war, with my
 F#M C#5 C#5
arms out, in the front lines, singing, "Dare me, dare me"

Chorus:
                                   B
But these things take time love
                         F#M
These things take backbone
                D#m C#5 C#5
And they tell you what you want to hear cause they think it's better. Better
                        B F#M
But you better know how to point out the liars.
            D#m
You've got to weigh your wars make sure you're not fighting for
C#5
nothing. Nothing.

Are you fighting for nothing?

Second Verse:
                        F#M B
It feels like this world has been slowly growing upside down

Maybe I should move to China, and straighten this mess out.
                       F#M
Maybe I'll be a poet
                                    B
Watch all the skys for falling words

and write about my grandma's curtains, or the lady who put the Chinese

buffet in her purse.

Lead In:

            D#m C#sus2
I've got my mouth, it's a weapon, it's a bombshell, it's a cannon, I've got
      F#M C#5
my words, I won't give them mercy. Mercy.

Chorus:
                                   B
But these things take time love
                       F#M
These things take backbone
               D#m C#5 C#5
And they tell you what you want to hear cause they think it's better. Better
                       B F#M
But you better know how to point out the liars.
            D#m
You've got to weigh your wars make sure you're not fighting for
C#5
nothing. Nothing.

Are you fighting for nothing?

Pick and choose where your sweat and blood will go
                                                              F#M
Make you see that your life's not to be lived alone
