Where Do My Bluebirds Fly (ver 4) by The Tallest Man On Earth Ok so I've been working this up for a while now, and I think that this is pretty much it. As with any song with finger picking, there are so pretty obvious variations in the song that are easy to hear, but I don't think it's worth the effort to try to write them all down. So, listening to the song is going to obviously help a lot. So, first off, the tuning is weird. From low to high it's D G D G A# d He has two picking patterns that he uses: (t-thumb, p-pointer, m-middle, r-ring) Pattern 1: d |----------------| A#|--m--m--m--m----| G |--p--p--p--p-p--| D |--t---t---t---t-| G |t---t---t---t---| D |----------------| 1e+a2e+a3e+a4e+a He uses this pattern for the intro and varies it a little bit for different parts (i.e. the last measure for each part of the intro) Pattern 2: d |--------r-------| A#|-----m-----m----| G |--p----------p--| D |--t---t---t---t-| G |t---t---t---t---| D |----------------| 1e+a2e+a3e+a4e+a He uses this pattern for everything else and it also varies (hammer-ons).
