So our hometown boys are starting to really make the big time with this latest
album, Silver Side Up. I remember when "Fly" first graced the air waves of our
local new rock radio station, CFOX 99.3FM. It went straight to the tops of the
charts then,  and now they're going straight to the top of  the  charts across
Canada & the USA.  Congratulations boys on being only the 2nd Canadian band in
history to hit #1 in the USA & Canada at the same time  (with How  You  Remind
Me).  The last band to do this was The Guess Who with American Woman  back  in
1970.

Anyway,  this song is pretty straight forward.  As with almost  all Nickelback
songs,  it's tuned in Drop D (just take a standard - tuned guitar and drop the
tuning of the low E string to D).  If you see any errors or  things  you think
could have been done better, please feel free to email me about them, and I'll
correct them.
