At what point to we declare it an end,
It's been worse before and it will be worse again,
If nothing's happended where is the closure,
Decide for real that this time it's over,
It's true old habits die hard,
We keep building castles out of cards,

Something in the old routine ain't right,
Staring at the glazed over look in her eyes,
Screaming 'Just listen, why won't you listen',
I shout without hearing her reason,
Effing and blinding reminding her why,
She tried to leave me a thousand times,
But I find her silence is deafening,
This time there's no idle threatening,
There's no scheming, dreaming, no tears streaming,
She just packed my bag and told me 'You're leaving',
Just like this,
