Seven Story Mountain

Notes: I DIG THIS TUNE. The 4/4 is slow. This tune is in D. Im using no capo and
in D, as the haunting perfect fith works well in first position D, although I dont know
the lead (Todd) is playing capod or not. I will take care of soloing with a few
Also, my instincts really want to play a G, or something G-ish within the first two
of the verse. I think the Bassist is tricking our ear. Seems we should keep it on D.
drums and auxiliary percussion are awesome for this tune (Not too loud, though) Accents
Mandolin can be awesome.

G C G D
Sometimes I just dont wanna know.

G D
But the road that led me here
G D
Has begun to disappear
G C G D
Sometimes I wonder where I am.

Oh Lord to hear a voice
But let it fade and wallow
Sometimes its hard to let it go.
Oh Lord to find the words
But keep them in and swallow
One day the top is gonna blow

(Chorus)
But the road that left me here
Has begun to disappear
Sometimes I wonder who I am.

Watching from the silence

Gonna find a light and fill my heart again

Its a long long life ahead
Gotta find a voice and fill my throat again
