Wer macht den Himmel blau Papa
Und manchmal dunkelgrau Papa
Warum kommt aus der Sonne soviel Licht
Und wer hat in der Nacht Papa
Die Sterne angebracht Papa
Warum muß ich jetzt schlafen und du nicht
Und ich bin es nicht gewöhnt
Daß mich wer Vater nennt
War doch gerade noch zuvor
Kaum ein Mann, vielmehr ein Kind
Auf einmal kommt irgendwer
Und will alles von dir
Ob es ihm auch gelingt,
Weiß allein, allein dein Instinkt
Und ist man einmal tot Papa
Wohnt man beim lieben Gott, Papa
