Dads Song by Set It Off

So this is the tab/chords to Dad's Song by Set It Off from their album Cinematics

I got these chords/notes from this cover tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNmQ9HVf7yE

However, I would suggest in the intro instead of using your index and middle finger for
the first part and switching everything around for the next, just use your middle and
ring finger on the B and e strings and switch between your pinky and index on the G
string. (If that makes any sense)
But do what makes it easiest for you!

The timing on some chords may be off in the written thing, but listen to the song and
you'll figure it out pretty quick!

Here goes.
Standard Tuning EADGBe
No Capo-although it can be used apparently

Lyrics:
Do you believe, in happy endings?
Or the mendings, of human hearts?
Oh, I believe, in both I'm certain
Because these curtains, are state of the art

If you'd occasionally, happen to spy on me
You'd think I'm having one sided conversations
But I hear him talking back
You'd think, I may even lack
Some sanity, but maybe, I can't let go

Chorus 1: All single strums

So I'll say
A
I finally wrote your song, at last
E E2 Fmaj9
Sorry, that this one came out so sad, every tear I had
D Dm A
Was shed for the man that gave me a better sense

Of life and meaning to motivate
E E2 Fmaj9
There's no short cut to success, I'll wait

For his, guiding hand

My guardian Angel, until the very end
