I've based on the tab by lennert moens 'cause I think he could create quite accurate thing if he would know about the tuning (he thought that Saxon plays in standard, but in fact they play in 1/2 step down). I hope it will help you. Myself, I play the song this way and it sounds quite good. ~ - let ring . - palm mute Riff 1 (palm muted) e ---------------------| B ---------------------| G ----9-9-9-9-9-9-9----| D ----7-7-7-7-7-7-7----| A ---------------------| E ---------------------| . . . . . . . (play that until the Riff 3, with both guitars playing the same) Riff 2 (this is probably Paul playing it, starting at 00:30) e ----------------| B ----------------| G ----7~~---------| D ----5~~--7-9~~--| A ---------5-7~~--| E ----------------| (repeat 'til Riff 3) Riff 3 (both guitars, coming along with Biff's "Yeah!" at 1:00) e ----------------| B ----------------| G ---7-7----------| D ---5-5-7-9------| A -------5-7------| E ----------------| play it 2 times, then this: e ----------------| B ----------------| G ---7-7----------| D ---5-5-7-7------| A -------5-4------| E ----------------| And the last, 4th time play the first part of the Riff 3. Then again play Riff 3 (verse) and Riff 4 (chorus). When the second chorus ends, you can slide the last chord to 0. Sorry for no solo tabs but I'm playing guitar for 2 years and I can hardly write normal tabs, solos are just impossible for me to play 'em from the song... Still, I think Graham is playing the first solo, so Paul is playing Riff 2 (I'm not sure 'cause I can hardly hear him, Nibbs and Graham are totally howling him down). With the second, Quinny's solo, you play Riff 3. Now the breakdown: e ----------------------| B ----------------------| G -----7~~--------------| D -----5~~---7~~--9~~---| A -----------5~~--7~~---| E ----------------------| this is the riff played by 'em while those "Solid Ball of Rock!" screams; play it 3 times, at the fourth time play this instead: e ----------------------------| B ----------------------------| G -----7~~--------------------| D -----5~~---7~~---3-3-3-3-3--| (repeat the last chord until the verse) A -----------5~~---1-1-1-1-1--| E ----------------------------| . . . . . Then you come with Riff 3 and Riff 4, you play Riff 4 until the end of the song. I hope it's helpful. I've picked the "intermediate" difficulty because it's not as simple as for example Denim and Leather and it has two big solos, which I can't tab at the moment; but still this song isn't very hard to learn, espacially if you love playing Saxon songs. :) Enjoy!
