Riding To New York by Passenger Noticed that I could not find a single tab/chord progression of this insanely beautiful song anywhere online, and I thought to my self, "this...this I can not tolerate... ONWARDS!" This is what I got so far, basically a chord progression, and I just added the tabs for the intro. I'll see if I can get the intersections as well in the near future! I also added tabs for the picking-pattern in the verse at the bottom ;) If you have any opinion on corrections or anything, just comment below, and I'll see about fixing it! ;) Video used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8akmRpjXtjs Artist: Passenger Song: Riding to New York Album: Whispers Tuning: Standard Capo on the 5th fret Intro: Fmaj7 Am7 G5 Fmaj7 e|-------------0-------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------1-----------1--------1-1h3-----3---1--------1p0---------------------| G|-0h2-------2------------0-----------0--------0h2-------2p0-0---------------| D|-----3-------3-----2------2-------0--------------3-------------------------| A|----------------0-----0----------------------------------------------------| E|-1-------1--------------------3-------3------1-----------------------------| Am7 C G5 e|---------0h3-----3p0-------------------------0-----------------------------| B|---------------------------1-----1h3---3-------3-------3-1p0---------------| G|-------0-------0-------0-----0-------------0-------0---------2p0-----------| D|-----2-------2-------2---2-----2-----0-------0-------0---------------------| A|-0-------0-------3---------------------------------------------------------| E|---------------------------------3-------3-------3-------------------------| Fmaj7 Am7 G5 Fmaj7 e|---------3p0---------------------------------------------------------------| B|-------1-------1---------------1-1h3-----3---1---------1-------1-------1---| G|-0h2-----------------------0-----------0---------0h2-------2-------2-------| D|-----3-------3-------2-------2-------0---------------3-------3-------3-----| A|-----------------0-------0-------------------------------------------------| E|-1-------1-----------------------3-------3-------1-------1-------1---------| Am7 C G F Well, I met him in Minnesota. Am7 C G* Then he lit up a cigarette and began to talk: Am7 C "See the doctors told me that my body won't hold me, G F my lungs are turning black. Am7 C Been Lucky Strike's fool since I was at school, G now there ain't no turning back. F Am7 G F They can't tell me how long I've got, maybe months, but maybe not. This is actually how Mike plays half(if not most) of his songs: Picking pattern (verse) Am7 C G Fmaj7 e|---------------------------------------------------------------------------| B|-----1---------1-----1---------1-----0---------0-----1---------1-----------| G|-----------0---------------0---------------0---------------2---------------| D|-----2-------2-------2-------2-------0-------0-------3-------3-------------| A|-0-------0-------3-------3-------------------------------------------------| E|---------------------------------3-------3-------1-------1-----------------| On some of the G's that span two tact-strokes (listen to the video to figure out which) goes like this: G* e|---------------------------------| B|-----0h1------1p0---0---------0--| G|-----------0--------------0------| D|-----0h2-----2------0-------0----| A|---------------------------------| E|-3-------3------3-------3--------|
