Safe And Sound by Taylor Swift

I cannot wait for "The Hunger Games" to be in theaters!
It's one of my favorite series of books and this song is so
good! And, by one of my favorite artists! I heart Taylor:)
Go buy it on itunes!

            ***********Have fun and Rate!**************
If you don't want to use a capo then click the transpose button above
and transpose UP 5 HALF STEPS. That would put the chords at Am Em C G
and such. I think it sounds good with the capo on 7 too- Transpose
DOWN 2 HALF STEPS for Dm Am F C etc..

*I took out the Dsus4 and Asus4. People who were transposing
were getting confused...(just needed to play the root.)

This was tabbed DIRECTLY along with the actual song,
downloaded from itunes. NOT by my singing, or by listening
to some girls cover on youtube:) So, no more pm's saying
that these chords are different than you saw on youtube or
your friends cover etc...

Em Bm G D x2

Em Bm
I remember tears streaming down your face
       G D
When I said, I'll never let you go
     Em Bm G D
When all those shadows almost killed your light
Em Bm G D
I remember you said, Don't leave me here a - lone
    Em Bm G
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

G D
Just close your eyes
    A G
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
   A G
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
A Bm D G
You and I'll be safe and sound

Em Bm G D x2

Em Bm
Don't you dare look out your window
G D
Darling everything's on fire
    Em Bm G D
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Em Bm G D
Hold on to this lullabye
Em Bm G G -once
Even when the music's gone. Gone.

G D
Just close your eyes
    A G
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
   A G
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
A Bm D G
You and I'll be safe and sound

G D Bm A
Oooo Oooo Aaah Aaah... x2

***SO, I learned to pick it the correct way (capo on 7) and this
just seems so ridiculous but I'll leave it. I've had a few
pm's thanking me for it. Go figure....:)***

This is kinda how I (used to) play around with the picking (before I
learned the right way, capo 7)for this song. I haven't taken the time
to figure out the hammers and pull offs perfectly- (if I even could!
I'm a newbie at picking;) but this way is so easy to do, even for be-
ginners. Just strum the top strings of the chord and do the little
bits on the G and B strings and it sounds pretty good:) THIS IS JUST
THANKS!!(Unless you absolutely LOVE picking it like this!!lol!)
       Em Bm G D
