Standard Tuning

Part of the reason this song has so many versions is that many of them fail to incorporate the C#, D# E riff used throughout many parts of the song, so things don’t sound quite right. Listen. Play along and you will see. For the chorus I use the mid neck F#(A string 9th fret) starting position which gives the bass part more of a kick and sounds great if playing solo with the CD or if you only have one guitar in your band. If you have plenty of top end (guitars) or want to get a heavier sound play the same riff but use the E string 2nd fret as a starting position for the F#, E, G# progression. Of Course, I am only going by one man's ear and some slow down tech. softwre so feel free to add on
