Strum these chords however you want, I usually hit the first one hard and leave it for a
beat, then strum every beat afterwards. Listen to the song for the exact timing.
The timing is approximated in the tab (if each "-" in the tab equals one beat at four 
beats per measure)

easier to bar the 8)

(There is also a harmony part to this where the second guitar is playing the same
chords, minus the 5th, an octave or two above these. I can also semi-hear it in the chorus
sometimes but I can't quite pick it out so I wouldn't say it's super important to be 
perfect and you can probably figure it out in a few minutes yourself. I'm mostly arranging for
one guitar)
