The strumming throughout this song is a consistent up and down strum with
her thumb. Counted 1 e & a 2 e & a 3 e & a 4 e & a (technically speaking!)
If you just relax and feel it out it might be easier than trying to count
it. I guess it just depends on what kind of person you are.
She does not always hit the 6th string or the low E string She uses it as an
accent. If you listen, you can figure out where she is using it or just
apply it where you think it should go.

Feels a little more like twelves but you get the idea. Besides if you
