Birch Trees And Broken Barns (ver 3) Ukulele by Caroline Smith And The Good Night Sleeps

I worked this tab out on the ukulele, since Caroline
plays it on a ukulele. So technically, this is a ukulele
tab, but I played it through on a guitar, and it sounds
okay. I will give you specifics on both, just in case.

----------------

Chords:
No capo, both uke and guitar are played open
Optionally, you can play guitar with capo on 5, only strumming strings 1-4 (bottom
4 strings), and use the chords for the ukulele.

F:
  Uke: 0232 (regular)
  Guitar: 320003 (regular)

F:
  Uke: 0003 (regular)
  Guitar: x32010 (regular)

C7M: (I believe this is the real name, but it could be C7)
  Uke: 0002
  Guitar: x32000

*Note: the guitar gods on this site are changing C7M to Cm7, but they are not the
same chords. C7M is also referred to as Cmaj7, and is not the same as C minor 7th.
I have left it as C7M, and not Cmaj7, for spacing purposes.

A:
  Uke: 4442
  Guitar: 022100 (regular)

G:
  Uke: 2225 (this is important)
Guitar: xx0232 (sorry, you won't get that ring)

Intro:

F F F7M F
If we were kids again
      F F7M F
we'd hang out almost everyday
                F F7M F
Running through woods at dawn
             F F7M F
finding the magic in things

              F F7M F
You'd help me up the tree
           F F7M F
holding me up to the top of the branches
          F F7M F
Open your book to read
                F F7M A
the story that felt like we were already in

      F F G
Where you're the king of the apple trees
A F F G
In the orchard where I'd come to eat

F F F7M F
Where we'd pull the wings off bees
           F F7M F
To build a bed in the top of the barn
                F F7M F
Humming through grass we'd sing
            F F7M A
out in the fields with the wind in our ears

      F F G
Where nights are long and in the day
A F
you'd paint and I'd write about outer space
A F F G
Where I'm the queen of the creek
A F F G
and the banks where you come to drink

F F F7M F
Swimming through birch and bark
             F F7M F
tell you my secrets of how I can fly
                   F F7M F
And I'll show you how tonight
       F F7M A
over bread and some white wine on ice
          F F G
And I'll draw a bath and we'll cram in
A F F G
And we'll write this story as we begin

And on the bus we're still living
A F F G
in the pages of our book that we have written
A F F G
And as if the wheels have turned to wings
A F F G
Traveled back to our world filled with birch trees & broken barns
