I hear the people asking where will it end
And when will man's fight ever cease
To me the it seems that the answer is love
For where there is love there is peace
In the beginning there was a garden
And everything within was filled with love
Nobody noticed they all were different
And life was gentle like a peaceful dove
There was no evil in the garden
Nobody had been taught to hate
So everyone was loving, just like the good book said
Too bad that it was lost
And we must stop making war and make
Peace, for every brother
Peace, for one another
Peace, enough for everyone
They say the word is love
If we just learn to love
For where there is love there is
Peace, throughout the land
Peace, for every man
Peace, come take my hand
Peace, where there is love there is peace
I saw a picture of the garden
Before the apple tasting had begun
There was a serpent, a lamb, some lions
And other beasts all laying down as one
We gotta get back to that garden
Together with forgotten friends
We gotta take the time to plant us a brand new seed
To make our garden grow, start again, make a friend
